I admittedly don't know much about these cars; there could be newer, faster versions, but a few guys I work with have S2000s. I can hang with the S2000s in my Tundra (4.7L, 2006) and smoke an RSX. My Tundra is not fast. I would estimate the S2000s to be a high 14 second to low 15 second car, and that is with loud, modified exhaust and probably cold air intake.

How is it possible for one to do a 13.6/102, stock? Did Honda make a supercharged version?

the people you raced couldn't drive them?

IIRC they need to be launched from a severely high rpm to do any good at all

I was thinking the exact same thing. Just didn't bother posting it until you mentioned it. Blowers suck on a 4 cylinder. Not to mention turbos are SO much cheaper most of the time.

Bad drivers? Doesn't sound right to me that your truck should be beating them, even stock for stock, but who knows.

The guys you race must suck BAD at driving... typically you'll see them running low-mid 14s @ ~97-98mph because people either don't know how to launch them correctly (6,000-7,000rpm), or they don't want to launch them like that. But high 14s/low 15s, definitely not. My stock Integra did that.

Agreed. What is more funny is when I hear some import guys say why turbo for an LT1/LS1... Then they see some guys with some and are like OMG

I can honestly say that I absolutely hate Honda's just due to my previous experiences with their owners but I'd love an S2k with some turbo boost on it

I've never been a Honda fan but after driving a RSX I loved the car. With boost I can see quite a bit of potential. Only thing that really sucks is the FWD part. But a turboed S2K....now that would be nice for a daily driver!!!

I'm still up in the air if I want to get a late model Integra to turbo for my daily driver. Might just end up with the Mach 1 and let the wife to be get a car.

RSX's are pretty quality cars! I just hate FWD. Turbo'd S2K would be SICK.

Wife to be? Congrats! Last I knew she was the gf! I'd personally say get the car you want but then again you are the one who has to live with her.. lol
