My 'vert LT1 trapped 117 with just intake/exhaust, mail order tune, and a 100 shot, with a 2.0 or 2.1 60', I forget. Wouldn't even be a race against a mild bolt-on LS1 street car

Yeah F'it why not. lol. I've been SUPER busy with work the past couple months but got some vacation time so I can finally put a little focus on the car. Right now i'm doing the Center Mount Exhaust mod, the valance arrived here Wednesday and the tips are scheduled to arrive Monday. Drop by sometime and check it out.

It seems like alot of the people on the other side are way over thinking this. It was a couple cars, probably within 40 rwhp of each other, probably both on street tires, with a bunch of unknown variables. If the outcome suprises people then they are only kidding themselves.
Obviously a truely full bolt-on/100 shot LT1 will beat a full bolt-on LS1 if both have traction.
Oh yeah, good kill btw.

Way too little info. full mod list, rear tires, raceweight, 60', approx da during the run & trap speed are a few questions I would have just off the top of my head.

I had a friend with an LT1 Trans Am M6 with intake, catback, 4.10s, and a 100 shot. On a hot and crappy day at Palmdale (3,000 feet elevation) here in SoCal, he ran 12.5 at 114. That car had no issues with my Camaro when I was lid/cutout making 317 rwhp. As was mentioned, a full bolt-on LS1 will get spanked by a bolt-on 100 shot LT1.

Supporting mods are assumed...LT headers, 1.6rrs, injectors, dyno tune, CAI, true duals, yada yada yada. Basically a H/C stock cube LT1. Track is 104' but unless you race in the winter the DA is usually between 800-1500' due to humidity with evening temps between 70-80*. Last time out(10/13 - took the bike, not car) the DA was 13xx still at 7pm

Car was a daily driver and like most LT1s these days it was a turd when I got it (with its only mods being a ghetto Ebay short-ram "cai" and a flowbastard muffler when I got it, it ran 13.9 @ 98 in negative DA

Was almost 3 years ago, full mod list has been posted multiple times but I'm too lazy to search for it or retype it all. Nothing special, basically what I typed - some crappy hogged out ported stockers, a baby cam, mild weight reduction, drag radials on the stock rims, and a 3200 stall.
Supporting mods are assumed...LT headers, 1.6rrs, injectors, dyno tune, CAI, true duals, yada yada yada. Basically a H/C stock cube LT1.
