Default My LT1 vs. a 5.0 Fox body

(NOTE: I generally only troll this forum, given the volatile nature of teen-agers, testosterone, and gasoline, but this was too much fun.)

Last week, I had just installed my seventh Opti-spark, so I was out on a little test run, when a maroon (did they come in any other colour?) 5.0 Fox body Mustang with bright blue HIDs comes charging up thru traffic to reach my vehicle.

This guy’s car is extra loud, gutted (with a cage), it has a flat black 4 inch cowl-induction hood, and three gauges on his A-pillar. He stops by my side, lurches forward and then pulls back twice (!) and yells at me: “Come on!”

I laugh and shout: “We’re in a 35 (mph) zone! A 35 zone Dude!”

He’s still in full race-mode; so he shouts again (with extra intensity this time): “Come on!!!”

With that, he takes off, and so do I.

I’m in second, so the turbo spools quickly, and I immediately get ahead of him to the degree that he can see my taillights, after that, the “race” between his “race car” and my stock-appearing vehicle is over, so I shut it down.

He pulls up next to me (in the left turn lane) at the next red light, and I ask him: “What’s in your Mustang?”

He ignores the question and says: “I gotta’ get to work Dude.”

The turn lane’s light turns green, and off he goes.

(Let the claims of BS, and people telling me how much my car sucks begin!)

Who would call BS? Foxes are the chosen platform for idiots to think they have a racecar with an almost stock car. I bet he had exhaust and gears Your car sounds like it is badass. By the way, I am not trying to downplay your kill, rather point out idiots in Foxes who think they have a top fuel dragster.

Turbo LT1s might break 12s, and even keep up with a bolt-on LS1.

Good kill, any numbers the LT1? Don't see too many with a snail on it. Sounds like the best damn sleeper ever!

STS setup LT1 is in no way faster than a bolt-on LS1

It's called sarcasm dude, look it up. While you're at it, look up grammar as well, since it obviously escapes you. Like I said before, PROOFREAD YOUR POSTS! Read them out loud and see if it makes sense.

I said proofread it because its so hard to read. Just read what you put out loud and half of it won't make sense. USE PUNCTUATION! [periods, commas, etc.] & don't randomly capitalize words. Not trying to be a dick, just helping you out so everyone doesn't get a headache from readin your posts.

We're talking about a boosted car. I'll let the OP chime in but the car can easily be a 400rwhp at 6-7psi.

JUST TO MAKE IT CLEAR FOR THOSE WHO DO NOT UNDERSTAND SARCASM, I WAS KIDDING ABOUT A TURBO LT1 MAYBE KEEPING UP WITH AN LS1.

Well stalled autos run pretty hard and those times aren't suprising really.
