Ninja Edit: just saw his 60'. haha. Well I think he'd do it w/ a 1.6 60'.
105 is an awful low trap speed to go 12's. The car doesn't have the power to 60' any better. 13.2 @ 105 /= 12's

A lot of work? It took about 2 minutes, if that.

No but nice try. 12's would be easy with a 105mph trap speed.

Not with 3.73's and no power. I don't see 4.56's on the mod list there. That car isn't going 12 anything without another 20-30rwhp.

I find it funny that he was "playing with shift points" (but also has 'driver mod'). That means the car is so damn slow that you actually have time to think about where you shift.

Face it, kid talked a big ******* game in multiple threads, condecending to people, and willing to throw $$$ down, then ran a 13.2.

That salt has GOTTA taste bad.

I knew Ju1ce would post, ha. I never talked big game, I said my car is a 12s car which it is, these were literally runs 1, 2, and 3 with this setup at the track so no doubt in my mind I can get a 12 out of it. I never said I would get it my 1st time out I am still wondering how saying my car is a 12s car is "talking big game", you make it sound like I think there are no faster cars out there Seat time for me = 12s.

You have "Driver mod" though, Who the hell needs seat time in a slow *** Mustang?

You talked a big game, you were willing to throw down $, you made fun of everyone who said you didn't have a 12 second car, and you came up 2 tenths short. You will need a solid 20rwhp more to even think about going 12 anything.

Not to mention you ran in almost November. It was 60 degrees, with 30% humidity, try running in the summer and you'll be in the mid-high 13's with your h/c/i Cobra.

Now all I see are excuses. You launched hard, and shifted fast. You didn't run 12 anything. Admit you were wrong and save some face.

Snake,
How much advance was built into your cam? Perhaps you need to retard it a few degrees. My friends fox GT had an Ed Curtis grind with a little advance thrown at it. During the install, it was advanced even further and ran like ****, namely up top. I'm no camshaft guru, but it's a thought.

I hope you are joking and poking fun about what it takes to run 12's. If not I gave you way more credit in the past than you deserve...

For one, the only two people I "made fun" of was you and whoever the **** the LT1 guy was talking **** with his 13.9 car that was in pieces and not even running. I said in my first post, I am disappointed in my car. I am not going to get into why, you will call them excuses. My car is slower than I want it to be and that will be remedied. I have no attacks for you, the only thing I will say is that I should not have opened my mouth and said it was a def. 12.80s car when it isn't.

Like was said, more practice on the launch and it would have been 12's that night. Pretty easy to see.

FWIW back in the day I hit 12.99 with 106mph. 60' was 2.01. I'm sure with slicks Sn95 could have hit 12's.

Hell, go onto dragtimes and start looking for a 12 sec slip. I'm sure there'd be one with 105mph.

x2 whoever said he doesn't have to power to launch any better is a ruhtard. I cut a 1.7x 60's with cai 3.73 gear and nittos.

I agree with you there. I still couldn't launch as high as I wanted to because the radials were slipping anywhere higher than a 4500 launch. I wanted to launch at about 5100.

Hell all it should take for snake95 to hit 12s is shaving off about a tenth off his 60 foot mark. All that requires is finding the proper launch technique and tire pressure to get there.

Juice im sure if you look at alot of old muscle cars you will see quite a few running mid to low 12s with traps anywhere from 104-108. Its all about the launch with those cars.

I never said it can't be done, I said that particular car won't do it. Those old muscle cars usually have 3/4 spd autos with 4.10 or 4.56 gears and a really high stall.
