LT1 Vs TURBO B16 So my most resent race was probably my best. My friends and I were going to meet up with these Honda ***** who wanted to race my buddy an I so we did. We get there and we start setting up races. I at the time had my 93 lt1 with shorties, under drive pulleys, cut out, cai, an 410’s, an it’s an auto. So I was matched with a b16 running 12 lb’s of boost an whatever the **** Honda kids do to there cars. First race was from a 20 mph roll he jumped out but I pulled him an got ahead by half a car that was the best race of the night. Second race was from a dig I got the jump but was spinning **** et streets lol finally hooked an pulled out by like a car an a half an that’s where I stayed. He clamed to have been spinning but he had slicks so idk If I believe him. O well a win is a win lt1 ftw

It would help to know more about the honda...But must have been either untuned (like most hondas) or not at 12lbs of boost. A b16 with that much boost would probly be making as much power to the wheels as a bolt on LT1, but in a much lighter car. Good races tho!

the dude clamed to be running 12 lb's but was making 290 to the wheels so idk. it was an ebay turbo an that is all i can tell you. now the kid hates me because it was his first race since the turbo. im still waiting on thie videos

Gaunt: im 21 an ther 21 as well its basicly a war in waldorf because me an my buddys have camaros an mustangs there is 3 ls1's 3 lt1's an 3 5.0's all 13 sec an faster an the honda kids hate us for some reason owell we race all the time an always come out on top

Considering tuned full bolt-on LT1's make maybe 280-290rwhp generally and the Civic is making 290whp and is supposedly on slicks, he should have stomped you.
