A fully loaded GT weighs 3660 from what i've read, and that makes a lot more sense than 3800..

Think about it, slightly bigger wheels, rotors, a 20lb glass roof, and a few odds and ends aren't going to add 250lbs to a car.

Those damn cars shouldnt come with a back seat cause you couldnt fit a midgett with no legs back there.
He told me that he got the CAI from factory.

It's probably a factory option, but it's not part of the track pack.

The mustang only gets heavy when you add things like the glass roof.
Nav, wheels, and brakes won't add as much weight as some are claiming.

a fully loaded one with glass roof and all came out to 3680lbs

the GT w brembos should be a bit under 3650lbs

both with full tank of gas.

Nice man. You have a strong running car there!
I think a lot of hype followed the new GT from the very beginning. I have yet to see where the new Mustang is showing itself to be what it was supposed to be.
Now, I have seen the modded ones and they do run pretty damn good..but so do a lot of others cars when they are modded.
I don't know....maybe time will tell.

Anyway..good run!

Great kill.

Reminds me of a certain post on SVTP of some *** claiming he beat a WS6 in 5th gear with 300lbs extra in the car from a highway speed roll. This shows the true story a lot better.

theyve been as quick as 12.3 (both auto and m6) in the quarter and trapped as high as 115mph bone stock and routinely dyno 370+rwhp and 435rwhp with headers/catback/cai & tune. What more were you expecting out of a regular GT???

i'm expecting it to run like that on the street. either these particular F bodys are freak examples or the driver's of these mustangs SUCK.. it just doesn't add up. can't wait to hear some more of these stroies and see if it's just shitty driver's or these gts are just running mid 12's @112-115 are as rare as the stock fbody LS1 in the 12's.

how can you expect the same on the street?? there aint clocks to tell you the results on the street. finding a GT trapping 115mph is probably as rare as finding an LS1 hitting 110mph and running 12's, but its happened. on average they seem to be running half a second quicker and 5mph faster (which isnt surprising considering 70+rwhp and +100lbs) . there are a lot of bad drivers out there though so anything can happen on the street.

Wow, good kill! Either your car runs good or the new 5.0's aren't all they're cracked up to be.
