Wouldnt expect a DOHC 5 liter motor to dyno that low. This is the only graph I have seen however that has a baseline and modded graph super emposed to show differences, AND its from a site sponser so I trust what I see.

340 WOULD be low. But the graph clearly shows 370+RWHP AND its from a site sponsor at that.

You guys stop arguing over dyno numbers. That's for the bench racing section.

Actually it was you and other LS owners who started the bench racing. For some strange reason someone started talking about LS6's out of the blue. Then Someone else said the LS2 has "big block torque" compared to the 5.0 so i posted a dyno graph comparing the two........

Jpc would like to announce that we have test results on our CNC cylinder heads for the 2011 5.0L. We have just completed the install/testing on the heads for MM&FF and have a sneak peek of the results. We are not at liberty to post up complete dyno sheets at this time but we can let you in on some of the gains we experienced. The car we used for testing was Joe Marini's 2011 6spd manual GT. The car was equipped with a set of Kooks longtubes, 3" Off-road X-pipe, Bassani mufflers, JLT CAI, and a custom Diablosport/JPC tune. The car baselined at 424rwhp, we installed the cyl heads within 24hrs and did not change anything but the cyl heads, we made sure all of our temperatures were consistent and this is what we found:

A 36rwhp gain at 7,400rpm, 21rwhp gain at peak hp which was 6400rpm, 18rwhp gain at 5,000rpm, 5rwhp gain at 4,000rpm. The heads feature RGR designed cnc porting and a 5angle valve job. They are equipped with stock valves and we shim the valve springs, for added valvetrain stability at high rpms.

445rwhp heads only. cams and boss intake are next. just saying. this is where mine is headed.

thats pretty damned good for stock cams and intake manifold. Im sure the head porting will only get better as more s learned!

the stock intake is a limiter. its good for torque, but kills power over 6500. the boss intake will change that when it hits the streets next month. i already bought one. im going for 500rwhp on motor. JPC figures 475-500rwhp is the number with H/C/I. im adding E85 to that. another 15rwhp or so. could be as low as 7 rwhp though. 27 degrees of timing with E85 helps that a lot.

i should be running 10's then. if i take it to the track. if. im not going to reduce its weight one pound. i was originally going to , but ive changed my mind. full weight 11's then 10's with slicks.

You sound ridiculous. I never said anything about dyno numbers in this thread. Try again.
