Well if my buddy that has the ta didn't get rid of his snake it would be easy to find out. I do know last season at the track I did beat him by about 5-6 lengths on the bottle(100shot).his car was pullied tuned cai exhaust. But his car was also a vert and heavy. I wish the cobra owners around here would race but I have only ran 2 on the street in 5 years the are few and far between
I also wish I could find a pullied Cobra around here these days. There are a few ported ones and a bunch of twin screw/turbo ones, but not too many with just bolt-ons and a pilley anymore.

Haven't ran my current set up but last seasson all motor with my 806 heads and bolt Ins I was trapping 107-108. On the bottle I trapped 119mph in 90deg heat with very poor 60 fts.

I don't remember the et from when we raced. It was some where in the 12s. MPH though I do remember he trapped 114 and I trapped around 118. Weather was hot and both cars were heat
soaked.
soaked.

what were saying is a pullied cobra "should" trap 118-119. so thinking your going to run with one with just your cam is stretching it. not saying it can't happen b/c it can and does, but not with a decent driver.

Never said I wouldn't get taken but worth a try. Thinking about spraying the car again after I do rod bolts and fuel up grades. Ill be happy if the car traps 115. Right now it pulls up top like it did on the bottle but obviously I didn't pick up that much HP. Next step is a set of 4.10 gears

No not yet I'm one of those idiots that drives there cars pre tune. Only cause I'm more concerned about my financial future right now but going to get tuned probly next 2 weeks. I'm hoping for around 410 ish but I only believe in dynos for tuning real indicating of power is trap speed

My track experience is a bit different though: most pullied Termi's do 11.6-12.2 with various boltons, gears, tires. Cam only LS1 Fobodies vary wildly from 11.5-12.5 based on seemingly random reasons versus how many boltons/gears they got.

To me you and lemons12 are right. Driver mod matters but so does power to weight. That 480hp cobra also wieghed 4100 with the driver my car is 3680 with me in it. Cars were wieghed and a truck scale at the same time in full race trim. But unfortunately said snake is somewhere in Oregon now. I may have a chance I feel I have pretty good driving skills. Maybe ill run in to a modded 5.0 soon enough
