Default Mustang fades away on highway.(long)

I really tried to give up street racing-and for the most part i have...
But i was coming back to Michigan from Texas about a week ago,and around Louisanna(sp ) I rolled up on this nice looking 5.0 convert. The fox body style with Cobra spoiler, rear bumper and a 3in cowl hood. It was sharp with the blacked out look going for it, Black with Black top and Limo tint all around, and lowered. But i smiled after i passed by it the first time because the windshield had these HUGE letters that read MANIAC across it. So i turned the cruise off at 77 mph and flashed my convertor and waited for a response..... I got nothing ,so i just resumed cruise and kept going.
This guy gets about 3 cars behind me then jumps on it,i kinda got the ricer flyby. So i hit it about the time he passed my door , I finally started to pull on him around 115 and by 130 i was passing him. I really should not have gone after him but i couldn't help myself . We slowed down ,he rolled down his window and told me it was a 347 with a supercharger on it. I politely smiled and kept going. I wish my bottle was full, things would have been much worse for him then. But filling the bottle was not on my travel prep list.
That was the biggest rush i have had in a very long time.
Sorry so long, just felt like sharing.
Dave

Mustang kills are always my favorite stories, except for the time SShark ripped the wing off the ricer.

Nice kill, you horse-rapist.

So basically... he did a fly-by and then you did a fly-by back? If so, I think that is one case where a fly-by is warranted. Nice kill

Nice kill. Should have ran him again after that where you could both get a better pass at it.

I swear i'm the only f-body around for like 50 miles!!!!! I can't even find rice or mustangs around even when I go out hunting for a quick run

Good kill. I has to **** Mustang owners off when they have all of that money invested in the engine and STILL get their *** handed to them. Of course I am talking about pre 03 cobras (Unit)

Nice work Dave. You've turned your car into a monster quite nicely. I remember the nitrous problems you were having. I'm glad everything is sorted out.

I always think of mustangs as the clydesdale(sp) horses. Well known and fancy, lots of hype, but little go. Of course there are a few exceptions here and there.
Nice kill btw

Good kill. Did you happen to notice if the stang had Louisiana plates? The reason I ask is, there is a somewhat large group of stangs (basically a club of sorts) down here in N.O. that wear that same banner(maniac) across the front windshield.

toxic99-He did have Louisiana plates.
Unit213- thanks Dan. I wish i could have sprayed him too-Empty bottle
AK'sWS6- Yeah i lived in Lake O, I would be glad to meet up and tear up the track with ya(weather permitting)
King02SS- I asked for a clean run and he just shook his head.
Thanks for the props. I tell ya , it is REAL hard to look at the car locked in the garage while it snows outside. Just pulled out of garage to go down to Texas. Now i really have spring fever!

I'm less than 50 miles from you. Well actually about 40 something.
