30th ann. ws6 vs porsche carrera
So last night I'm driving to my friend's house on the freeway(in mexico!) when I encountered a newer Porsche Carrera.Didn't pay much attention considering pretty much every Porsche owner ignores me but this guy was different! Funny thing was when I shifted into fifth gear( because I was driving the speed limit surprisingly),he downshifts and floors it,then cut's me off.I had to go after him!I stayed in fifth and caught up as he was taking the turn to switch freeways.I down shifted to third and stayed right on his *** all the way through the long sweeping turn going about 70/ 75 mph and when the lanes opened for the freeway he floors it and so do I.Maybe he wasn't in the right gear but I was right in my powerband(3.42s ) and passed him at about 90 mph shifted into 4th at just under 100 and stayed in it till about 125mph.I think he gave up or got scared because when I let off dude was gone.I even slowed to like 50 mph in hopes of getting another run but he never came back!haha. If he was a better driver he would have left my *** through that turn and made me work to catch him but he didn't cause he wasn't!Not trying to brag here but I needed to share this story.Maybe next time that guy will think twice when he see's some American muscle! Wasn't the safest race but it was one of those moment's I couldn't resist!

I'll hit you up next time I roll out with the car club's and local houlligans. It is hard to find a random race around here.We usually end up in hayward east bay etc.but often go to sf or oakland.

Thanks NW-99SS.They either lack the skill's,ball's,or ambition to really push there car's limits once in a while.Truth be told I believe there's plenty of exotic owners who aren't that way but it's rarely seen on the highway's around here.Guess it's safer that way which isn't so bad!

I remember back in my high school days a couple years back when I first got the car and had just put exhaust, gears, stall on it and getting into a run with an 08 Cayman (I think they are 245hp stock?) and beating him from a light and watching him doing a "fly-by" just to hit a deer. I felt so bad for the guy I called a tow truck and we went our separate ways. Also remember running into an early 90's Ferrari 348 Spider I think it is (my buddy's dad let him drive to high school one day) and being in absolute shock when I was passing him at WOT
Always fun when older guys want to use their cars for what they are intended for
