I'd be surprised if it didn't run a mid 10 at least with a good driver. I have a friend with a compound set up that ran 10.3 and he was making 730 on 17lbs of boost. Like me he only got one good run before he got the boot from the track. He was also running a stock drive shaft.

LOL A man's home is his castle.

No really the Dallas area has some good housing deals and we sold two other homes right and rolled the money into this one. But thanks.

Chris a guy I know with the same setup minus the shocks ran in the 9s @ 142.73 with his 2.9 whipple GT 500 but I would imagine he is a better driver than me. He was running MTs and bogarts too.

I built my car primarily for the street their are lots of exotics in my neighborhood and I wanted some American muscle to shut them down with. My neighbor tried his Galardo and it didn't go well for him.

As she sits now C6ZO6 don't do that well but I probably haven't found a heavily modded one yet. lol I have a lot of respect for C6ZO6 though. Its hard to beat such a lite platform. I have been considering buying a clean used one. I always say a GT500 needs 125-150 more hp to win.

If you come up against a GT500 with stock tires and wheels I wouldn't worry to much about it. LOL

I just meant with the daily driven wheels. In other words, if you were running the 315's and stock fronts with a safe pulley and tune sans the N20 the car should trap between 131-134.

It would be safe to say the 75 shot would give you 4-5 mph and the pulley another mph or 2 and another 1 mph for the bogarts.

Estimated guess but that should be very close. Any runs with the daily driven set up? That's all I'm trying to figure out really. Thanks for the input -

No I have limited track runs. I can tell you that a friend with a compound 2008 GT 500 making 730 hp ran 10.30 but IDK what he trapped he was running MT's on the rear. [The car was 100% stock except for the rear tire and the Hellion compound kit.] And Chris with the same race setup as me [tire, wheels, 75 shot] trapped 142.7 and ET was 9.96. So depending how good of a driver you are and track prep I would say 135-138 and low to mid 10's is certainly possible.

FWIW, the 1900hp Ford GT 266mph mile car is on the stock shortblock. I'd love to see any LSX do that.

That FordGT wasnt on stock shortblock!!!!

I love that the most - building a fast street car that looks stock

Considering he owns a Chevy car, that was a fail

I have to be careful out of the hole. The Nittos are for the street though.

Uhh... No it wont. Not even close.
ZR1's trap 131-132mph (+/- 1mph)
His car traps 138+

Sorry man, but TOTALLY different "League" of car.
Thats like racing a 2010 Camaro SS vs. a Base C6 LS2 Vette. They have 5-7mph trap differences, and one is MUCH faster than the other.
Like I said, different leagues.
