killed a 05 to 09 Mustang GT tonight. long read First off, it's been a beautiful day here in Texas so i've had my tops off since 7:00 this morning. 
Dinner rolls around and my family decides we want pizza, so my brother and i go to pick some up. The roads are mostly clear and i catch a stoplight. I'm in the middle lane and glance in my rearview mirror to see a Mustang pulling up in the right lane. I look over as he pulls beside me. He had a Roush hood, Stage I maybe, and as the he stops he looks over with a smirk. I noticed a hot blond in the passenger seat and know that he wants to show off. I look at my brother and he says "this is gonna get interesting." The light turns green and I hear his engine roar. I glance over and see him take off. I snap my head forward and dump the clutch. The wheels spin a little as i go to WOT, I pull even with him and quickly shift to second. As I let off the clutch, the back wheels break loose so i let off for a second and give them some traction. At the top of second, I look over beside me expecting to see him next to me...nothing. I look ahead thinking he might have pulled me some when the wheels were spinning...nothing. I look in my rearview and he is about 2 bus lengths back and getting farther away. I let off and make my turn. I look over and my brother has a huge goofy grin on his face. All in all, a great night.

He definitely was racing at the beginning, but he might let off early. It was fun anyway. The adrenalin kicked in when i was picking up the pizza. I think the lady behind the counter thought i was on something cause my hand kept twitching i kept grinning.

not quite. A week after i bought the car I blew the engine so I had it rebuilt with forged internals and a midsize cam. Not sure of the specs. I didn't know much about engine internals then or I might have been a little more involved in the rebuild.

I used to have one LOLShe was the GF of a local radio host. It was a shoot for a magazine. They picked her not my son. I think his GF is better looking. Its just one of the few pics I had available of his car. It makes 351whp , AJ Foyt Coyote
