yeah, I'm feeling old on this one. Talked to a friend... bench racing and stuff like that. Last I saw him was a few years ago. He's got a legit 11 second Neon (gutted, turbo, nitrous, other mods) that he'd gladly run against my T/A and another friend's 2nd Gen LT1 Camaro.

I told him my daughter just got her license and he was like "wasn't she in diapers and throwing McNuggets across the McDonald's dinning room not too long ago?"

Um... yup. My demon spawn has grown up. Now she's a gearhead in training. Thankfully, insurance "restrictions" prevent her from even looking at my G8

ancient man, I feel just ancient

And here I was feeling old because my younger brother is almost a senior in high school and all my friends are getting married/having kids

I guess I have it made when it comes to my wife. When she is riding in the cobra with me she keeps an eye out for any muscle cars to race lol. The only time she starts freaking out is when we pass 140mph. Oh and is it sad that my 2 1/2 year daughter says go faster daddy?

Umm no I don't drive 140 with my daughter you guys took that out of context. The fastest my daughter has ever been in my car is 80 on the interstate.

Only a complete moron would do something that damn stupid with their kids in the car. You guys were talking about being afraid of talks daughters getting a muscle car and was just giving a comparison of what I am in store for

BUT, if anyone with a teen who's been driving thinks for a second their darling child has been a perfect angel behind the wheel...

HA!

Mine normally drives like a granny, but I'm certain she's been saved by the radar detector once or twice. And then, there's the question of the sudden misalignment on one car (and her total lack of recollection as to what could have caused that )

I've been doing a lot of that this week myself. Drinking that is...although one can lead to the other...
