What if I talked about what would happen if a stock car and a modded car raced, and then I went out and actually raced them against each other to find out? Would the actual race negate the ricerness or does that fact that the bench racing happened at all make me a ricer for life?

A full bolt on ls3 will slaughter a full bolt on 5.0, all else equal. I am not some biased nut swinger, that is a fact. It isn't much of brace stock and each mod gains about the same power, slight larger som to the ls3, with the ls3 gaining more torque from each mod. Factor that in with weight, you would be dumb to think otherwise.

This is the original argument that was being made, but people were saying that the vetter would murder the full bolt-on 5.0. Once they started to realize that probably wasn't the case, the vette suddenly got bolt-ons as well. At least that's how it looks to me.
