Who said my car is a "drag car". Stock suspension, stock block, stock heads, stock cam, stock rear end, no weight removed. Just a stock car that has a little blower at 9-10psi.

You guys that don't own both, like I do, can't really understand it. I understand that you are limited to having 1 car, and want to get the best performance out of it. However, I can go to the strip, run mid 10's with 2 mods on a bone stock car, and drive across the country at 30mpg without issues. I can turn the steering wheel, too, if I need to.
Believe me I HAVE owned both and I can appreciate both being modded in thier own ways. Sure it's not everyones cup of tea but if someone enjoys building a honda over a vette, then by all means let them. Plus, a lot of the "honda" owners here have owned V8 cars as well and then wanted to give the honda game a shot. As I said, V8's aren't everyones cup of tea.

Hell if you want to talk about Having a shitty starting point and trying to make a honda fast then I guess I'm in the same boat starting off with a mid 15 second third gen trans am. Surely not "ideal" by your standards but I love the looks and style and it's what I want to build.

You have obviously never been in a honda from a performace point of veiw as I have experienced and I will tell you that they are loads of fun. Having a motor that screams to 7500 or more RPM's without even a flinch and hearing the VTEC kick on (I know sounds ricerish but it's a cool feature on a honda engine). Just a different experience, thats all. I appreciate both.

I've driven a handful of hondas. I've never been a big fan. FWD is annoying with any decent amount of power, I don't like the way they handle that much (they feel squirrelly to me and when they don't, understeer is a bitch), and I don't really like the way they look or sound.

I know some people get into them, but it would have to be perfect for me to get into it.
I'd have to have a turbo K20, vtec eliminated, 3rd gen Integra or an RSX.
I don't like vtec, it makes the car feel like it's struggling to me.

But realistically, I would rather build an S13 up to be just as light, just as or more powerful (depending on motor choice), and rwd. That's JMO of course.

Hoenstly not sure, i was driving home and seen this guy STANDING beside his bike??? I watched him an got a few videos including this one, then he seen me slowed down and the other video was the result. I pulled back up for mmmmmmm about a sec or two, as you can see, I knew he was going to win, but you see I pulled back up for a sec before he desided to go into HYPERDRIVE

I ran other bikes, and both won and lost but Ive surprized a few 600's (600's with better results) here is a qoute ofa different board i am on.

Just so you know, any 600 from mid 1990s and up with a competent rider would absolutely embarrass a 360-400rwhp car... as in they could give you the hit and start in 3rd gear at 40 and still murder you.

From a 40 roll with them in 1st, it would look like you didn't even kick it.

At that power level if you have beat any bikes they were either extremely extremely old, like an early 90s katana, or the rider was absolutely horrible, period.

Unfortunately I learn that the hard way, the new bikes are in a diffent league all together, not sure what year ir was but Bradley confrimed it was a RR?? Honda?? doesnt matter, 200 shot and bogart going on as I type, so I'll be back for soem more fun. Win OR lose I JUST LIKE TO RACE.

Absolutely

On my 05 600 I had so many 450rwhp cars trying to outrun me because they were supose to. Man did they get a rude awakening

Any 2000+ 600 should trap in the 130 range..100+ in 1/8.

That would be a newish cbr 600rr Honda, could play with a sub 400rwhp car easily. Would trap over 100 in the 1/8.
With a good rider it takes around 475+ to run with 600s, 525+ to outrun them on occasion.

Mostly, i find them at 60-70ish to 130-40 ish. But thats why I need a 200 Shot

That and a certin Car that it is going to be faster that sound, according to the owner.

I didnt hear anything about that. We do a lot of runs on the way to chattanooga when we go to eat and what not, but not one we get into town or anything.

Any of those guys fbody owners? Tnrace or tnfbody members?

Yes, Chattanooga, We are mostly on streetcarforums, but since the bust no one post there any longer. I beleive there are a few tbfbody people from Chatt.

I've raced 5 600's and have yet to lose to one. It's actually only been close in 1 race. My car traps 108+mph in the 1/8 and over 135mph in the 1/4.(probably closer to 140 with a few more bolt ons). Haven't ran in to anything bigger in a race situation, but I'd like to see what I can keep up with.

750 would be a good race..1000 would walk away. if you ran into a 600 with a very good rider that is lite it would be a dead nuts race until over 100 then you should start walking it. Their throttle response Is Insane.

What do you have done?

last bike i owned was a 96 zx6. i recently rode my sister's 2010 600rr -ABS. she had a programmer and filter. needless to say it would rape either of my cars. the turbo or the 2011. i talked a lot of **** till i rode it. times have changed. i think she said 123hp was the 'rating' . im not up to date, but it felt far faster than i remember my bike being. got up on the back wheel by accident. i liked it.

Yes, I do.

Though, I was fairly certain that there were quite a few turboed K20's with non-vtec cams that were pretty strong. Guess not.

Honestly, I'd rather stay away from it all together. Crippling understeer and a complete lack of torque aren't my style.
