I didn't know the Shelby actually got more than just badges. What were the changes?

NightmareTA can give a better answer, but I know they had at least a different tune than the stock GT's. Maybe a cold air too?

Shelby package consisted of..

-cold air
-catted X-pipe instead of H pipe
-axle back (mufflers)
-Ford racing drop springs
-Ford racing front/rear sway bars & bushings
-Hurst shifter
-All had 3.55 gears

And then of course all the dressup stuff too. It was a refined GT for the most part. That car handled like it was on rails for a boat. Def a bad *** car. A lot of people said it was an overpriced GT but I loved it! And for $35k, it doesn't seem too overpriced to me.

I wonder why this '10 GT pulled hard then yours did on the G8. Ron's shifting technique maybe?

The digs yes (unless you want to count the TC on race), but I was comparing the rolls. Look at the first vid, I ran away from him before I let off for traffic, which is why he blew by me. I put the info on the 2 off camera rolls in there too in case you missed that, beat him by a little in 1 and a lot in the 2nd.

To review:

He honked btw. I let off for traffic because I was still pulling. He slowed the pull but I let off which is why he came around.

Thats weird. Maybe that car had factory 3.73's? I'm pretty sure that became an option in the 2010 model year. I know my shelby had LONG gears and once you hit third and 4th it took forever to redline. Def that cars weak point.

Not sure, I used 2nd in the 50 roll, maybe even the 60 but not sure on that one. 3rd felt suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuper long though. It ran out over 100mph so it's enough to finish the 1/4 in 3rd. it was optioned pretty well, but I'm not sure on the gears.

Thats weird. I was at redline in 3rd at the end of the 1/4 at around 104 mph so they are probably the same gears. Maybe you got a car that had mods lol. IDK. Mine ran a 13.5 @ 104 so it wasn't a weak one for sure.

Yeah that sounds about right for when I hit 4th. I checked it over, but it was bone stock. It did have a factory "cold air induction" as written on the intake, but it wasn't even a true CAI. Only had 5,500 miles on it, so doubt it had any hidden mods.

I nearly walked out of a dealership in 2006 with a brand new 2006 Roush Stage 2 for $27k cash
