I'd like to see this race with the Cobra having 4.56 gears, sticky tires, and a tune. I say this because I'm not sure how well a cam helps out a LT1. Nice car though, my very first loss was from a bolt on LT1.

I was in the 12's with a cam and bolt ons in Denver with my LT1 car. Years ago.

I just don't know much about LT1s. I've had my hand assed to me a couple times by them but the fast ones you just don't run into alot. So I don't put much R&D into them. Not to mention the Honda should banish all LT1s once I put the Skunk2 short throw shifter in and Stage 4 clutch.

I just don't know much about LT1s. I've had my hand assed to me a couple times by them but the fast ones you just don't run into alot. So I don't put much R&D into them. Not to mention the Honda should banish all LT1s once I put the Skunk2 short throw shifter in and Stage 4 clutch.

Yeah I have too, they are a lot like ls cars where there are so many variables and options that they can run decent or be extremely fast

Well if you are running street tires I'm assuming you probably don't want to run on spray. So we can do motor runs if you like. I'm in North Vernon, could meet you in Cbus or wherever if you prefer.

level 5 RPM 4l60e
Yank 4000
Lid/filter
Pacesetter headers
SLP exhaust
We line up from a 40 roll and pace each other, He honks it off and we go on 3. I immediately jump out a half car probably because his auto and my gears. I run 2nd out and powershift 3rd and gain another half a car, continue and powershift 4th as well and gain hardly nothing maybe a 1/4 of a car... we continue and halfway through 4th he is starting to creep back just barely and then 120 is here and I have to shut down because thats the end of 4th and I'm ahead by about a car.
It was a fun race and really close... Afterwards, he came up to me and must have been a little bitter and said I'll have something for you in a month and we can go again lol. So being the smart *** that I am I said You better be putting a cam in it if you want to pull me in a month otherwise you will see tail lights again.
Normally I wouldn't say something like that to anyone but him saying that to me the minute he got out of his car rubbed me the wrong way. Funny thing is he doesn't know I have nitrous on my car so he will be surprised ha.
Cliffs: Go back to school and yell at your teacher because you can't read

My long tubes are not on yet, im just a lid/cat-back/stall car, and my car is pretty much a fatty haha full weight plus thick sub box, and 2 12's and 2 amps.
Second I did have a bad hit on that run(my fault obviously I was spacing out) so you got a good jump but I was reeling you in. Also when my stall hit I did spin for just a sec.
Third I remember being at your door at 120 not a car behind, I would have been in front by 135ish.
Fourth I'm not sure if you perceived me as trying to be mouthy or something, but I wasn't It's always a friendly run between us man.
Lastly I'll hit you up when I get all my stuff in. Ive got a few things sitting in my mailbox. Cam, Racetronix 255 pump kit, Pacesetter Long Tubes, TSP Duals, and obviously will need a tune.
O.....and you told me about the bottle right after I told you about the cam buddy
