Sorry for the

Seems like the LS3 vettes run neck and neck with the c5z. Mod for mod also. 11.80's on street tires or dr's are good enough for me. Plus, the vette is pure Pimp Juice.
ya u got that easy imo a stall might be a good add as well

M6 LS3 is a tad faster than a C5Z stock for stock. C5Z sits right in between the LS2 and LS3 C6 in terms of straightline acceleration.

You should do much better than high 11s with bolt-ons/tune/tires.

Id say more around 12.6-12.8 at 113-115 is normal

12.3-12.5 at 114-116 is getting it done nicely

12.0-12.2 at 115-117 is next to impossible but with great weather and great driveing it can be done

11.99 at 118 mph????? I dont belieave its possible but some claim to have done it

Bzzzzz, wrong....In the Feb. 2009 issue of GMHigh Tech., they included in the magazine their original article from 2004, where they test drive and drag race a STOCK 2004 z06. They run a series of low 12 sec. passes and finally hit an 11.97 at 118.8 on the final run. Track was Englishtown NJ.

What track are you talking about?

Here in Sacramento at SRP 12.4-5@ 115-117 are quite the norm. Ive seen a few go 12.30s
The 01's will typically run 1-2 tenths slower.

that 400 lb weight disadvantage kill any chances for the 5.0 since the cars should be pretty even HP wise
