It's a Canon PowerShot 780 something or other. I'll check later and get you the specifics. I got it a couple years ago for my birthday and I absolutely love it.

I'm not sure the exact temps, but probably in the 50's. It was comfortable until the wind picked up and then it got cold.

That's exactly what I meant, a 360lbs swing, not just a 360lbs difference. I worded it badly. Should make more sense now, lol.

Never know, I hear your car is coming out swinging when you get it back together

So am I. I should be getting to the track at the end of this month and hopefully get it on the dyno and retuned next month.

I'm glad to see that my continuous pestering to get rid of the 4.10s and swap the 3.73s back in seems to have had the desired results.
I couldn't be happier with the new rear setup. Now I need to go out and practice some dig runs so I don't look like a fool the first chance I get

I don't think 4.10's are all their cracked up to be. I went from 4.10 to 3.90 and picked up 2 mph. I don't think 3.73 would hurt it much and probally be better for roll racing.

Nice kill, your Z sounds nasty with the cutout open! You pulled the Cobra pretty well, I'd like to see the race with even weight though. Good runs Definitely nice seeing this out, it's way faster than the G8!

**UPDATE**
Sounds like the Cobra has knock in the motor now, probably rod knock. I'm sure that explains the outcome.

215's and an old grind from a shop around here. I actually bought my cam used back in 2005ish. 230/236, .583/.583 (after my 1.8 rockers), 112lsa.

I agree that it's probably faster from a roll with the 3.73's. I no longer feel like I'm shifting all the time and the car now has a chance to pull.

Thanks man, it feels awesome to drive it again. It was a long winter!

Thanks man! I have an SLP lid and the stock MAF. The MAF even had the screen in it until a shop removed it without asking. I wasn't happy about that.

The nitrous is currently out of the car. I will be putting it back in in a few months (I want to redo the whole kit).

He's got a wideband on there that he pays pretty close attention to. He's wondering if he over revved it.

Nice race - thought it woulda have been closer. Gotta give it to ya ron, that car moves!!

He doesn't have a rev limiter on it? Were there other races before you guys ran? Just wondering when he thought it may have happened

Thanks, Matt. If I was gonna guess before hand I would have said the race was going to be about opposite of how it went.

We only did one pull before that, but I missed 3rd gear, so we let out. He said the car felt good during the race, but he might have hurt it during. Someone said they can hear his car nose over after he shifts to 2nd gear in the video, but I honestly can't hear it over my exhaust, other than a little blower whine. Matt and PSM both said they didn't notice it doing that during the run.

Not sure what his limiter is set at.

Haha...yea well it should be faster than it was, but not outrageous. I've got a couple rematches in mind And I still have to have the third gen showdown with that camaro!

That sucks about the cobra too...that car is soo damn nice!

Over revved? I highly doubt it. I spin mine to 7,000rpm and it's seen 7200 rpm on many occassions.

Nice run and nice rides!

That is very unfortunate for your friend with the Cobra

I agree, your car seems like it performs a lot better from rolls with the 3.73's over 4.10's because you aren't constantly having to shift it (Comparing to your older videos with the 4.10's in)

I'm still impressed with how it performs for such a mild cam and head combo

Damn man, thats too bad about his cobra. Hopefully he can get it fixed without being too bad on his wallet. Such a nice looking car too. If he gets his 3rd gen up and running he can put the cobra on hold and drive the 3rd gen lol.
