98 svt cobra kill it was saturday night, I tried to go race my car at the strip earlyer that night but the strip was closed, so i figured oh well ill head to the store and grab some brew, right when i got there i was getting out of my car when i saw a couple mustangs pull in the parking lot, i decided to jump back in my car and see what they were up to.. i drove be kinda slow gave them a nod but kept going.. i stopped at the stop sign and gave a little rev to see if i could spark any interest, instantly they all start jumping in there cars and heading my way. anyway, we stopped at a gas station and check out each others rides.. mines still almost stock.( high flow cats and exhaust.) we had no where to go so we took a couple runs at the local spot.. we started at about 25 the first run.. i gave 3 honks went for it.. mines an a4 so i was in first, ran it out to about 5900 and shifted to second, we were about even untill about 95 then i started pulling away.. we ran 2 other times once started in second at about 50 to see how it did, he had me by about a fender untill about 85 untill the little 4.6 ran out of power... good run though..

nice race man me and my buddy raced one with an exhaust with his 02 a4 z28 from a dig both cars hooked fine and it wasnt as close as you described we had an extra person in the car and immediately started pulling let off aroundd 60 with a 1.5 car lead give or take.

WHen we were stopped at the gas station he popped the hood, he had intake exhaust and a tune. I wasn't even sure my little stock ls1 was gonna run with him but it suprised me again.
