So we went up to this FAIL *** meet in Boca last night. This meet was nothing but kids revving up and drifting like ricers, we were asking EVERYONE to race and nobody would. Cobras? Nope. Bikes? Nope. CTS-V? Nope. Evo's? Nope, not even one making more power FROM A DIG vs a Neon on street tires... Finally we got a Supra to line it up, he said he was making 570whp on a T67 with Cams... Every time the Neon would start break boosting, the Supra would just take off, so the Neon said F it and chased him... We are going to stay in Miami from now on lol.

Heres the video... 60 roll. Supra jumps, Neon chases, both throw 5th gear.

01 I have a friend that just did a complete build on a Neon. It made like 587 on 93 he said, but something happened to the motor now......I tell him that all the time.

Some of these guys you can tell have no real drag experiance.

You go to the drag strip anywere in the US or abroad and the Fbody's have the best reputation going perid.

stock with slicks. high 12's to low 13's

full bolt ons with slicks mid 12's to high 12's

full bolt ons with slicks gears/torque converter high 11's to low 12's

add a medium cam to that and mid to high 11's

add after marker/ported heads and low to mid 11's

75 shot of the giggle gas and 10 second Fbody

This is a tried and true Formula known world wide on what the Fbodies are capable of. So to compare a Fbody to a neon is just wrong. Neon has acomplished nothing and is usually laughed at when they come to the drag strip. Ive raced many SRT4's that were suppossed to have this and that with stage 3 ect. They were all slow.

Thast race was SICK OP....One of the best back and fourth races Ive seen in quite some time. The way your powerbanbs overtook eachother till the very end was mesmerizing

I can agree with everything you are saying there, I also have a Fbody. It is sad to say but probably over 90% of SRT4s do NOT run the way they should, or could with even less mods/hp than they have. Most of the owners are young kids who know nothing about racing or setting up a car, or just flat out cant drive. Not to mention the fact that probably over 70% of them have boost leaks that they dont know to fix lol.
Drag racing wise you really cant compare an Fbody to a SRT4 like you said. They are quite a few years behind on R&D, and the fastest you are typically going to go with a properly built SRT4 is 9s, compared to Fbody's runnings 7s.
There are SRT4s that have run 7s (hot rod) and currently one True Street running 8s, but those are with automatics.

There is a part of me that likes the SRT4 for what it is. It's not trying to win beauty contests, but they seem to be a lot of fun and respond to mods well enough.

Come on, what do you mean the fbody is not so good in the looks department. I thought driving a car that resembles a bat mobile was hottness

I seen some fast neons run .. Just have to run into the fast one.. Only problem is when I do see them at the track they trap high but blow the tires off the track.. To bad Im kill alot of those neons in my gst lol jk

No no no no no, lol.... My personal car made 441whp 476tq on 22psi 93 pump gas, but ran out of fuel on the small injectors. On E85 maxing out the turbo it would have been about 530whp 550+tq. Spooled at 2800rpm, so the power band was sex. Thats with a 50 trim, a couple years ago.

good race but im not gonna lie, going past cars changing lanes on the freeway to pass cars at 150+mph is stupid.
