I think a lot of people unknowingly assume the LS3 isn't all that great just because the new Camaro is such a fat pig. It really is impressive. For me, 4th gen. F body over a 5th gen. Camaro all day, every day.

Mach 1 is driver's race with a LS1 at the track stock for stock and mod for mod. I've personally been there and done that. Hell I almost beat a supercharged C6 with basically a stock Mach 1. Cammed Mach 1's make 360-390rwhp. With higher compression and a stroker kit they can make more. Same can be done with a 96-01 Cobra. Look up Nazman on the forums, his N/A Cobra back in the day would make you drive your T/A head on into a bridge embankment if you ran into him and raced him. Do you have the knowledge to make a 4.6L Ford run hard? No? Doesn't mean it can't be done.
