Ran a 2011 5.0 tonight. A good buddy of mine picked up a 2011 Stang 5.0 6-speed. Very nice car, sounds and runs great. So we been talking about running just out of curiosity. His only mods are drop in K&N filter, and muffler delete. I've got Patriot 225/229 .580/.590 114+4 cam, ported TB, longtubes, Xpipe into SLP Loudmouth II mufflers, tune. He's a pretty good driver, and another Ford guy was really doggin him after the loss sayin he should have won. But me and my friend both agree with a little more mods he's gonna blow my doors off 
We both had passengers and this was a 30 roll, both of us in 1st gear. We had other videos, but this unfortunately was the best one. My passenger sucks at recording video.

I'd love to throw some heads and better cam on my car, but I'm gonna buy a MWC 9" first

Yeah, it wasn't a race to see who's the best, just a fun run. He's got mods planned, and I know I won't have a chance when he gets back from his deployment next year.

He's a good guy, and he actually told me he was expecting to lose. He didn't come out bragging. So when we were done, he was like "see I told you I'd lose". Just some fun runs. He was never cocky with it.

my favorite is how they will see it from the road, turn off and drive by really slow to look (sometimes even come into the place work and ask about it). then as the leave the parking lot..............burnout!

Dude you walked him bad, 5.0 or not a race is a race. A tune will however really "wake" his car up. As stated earlier, slap a set of ported 243s on there and the outcome will be similar after your buddy completes his mods. Good Kill!

im not so sure with a tune a full bolt ons hes going to catch up to where you are now. Dont be so scared lol... only in internet land do bolt on tune 5.0's run 10's. but damn you pulled him hard. car runs good! any track times?
