Sounds about right. Spinning at the line can end up being about 5 car lengths or so at the end pretty easily. If he would have hooked it would have been about that I would say.

No doubt your drag radials and gears gave you that 2 car jump. That is tough to come back from. Just like I always say though, it is not always about Hp and torque...Diver mod, Traction, weight and gearing can be just as effective especially from a dig...roll racing is all about Hp though. This type of race removes weight, torque, traction and the driver mode from the equation.
You arent the only one in this section that believes that. The weight gearing torque driver shift points etc etc are all still there.
Why do you think two cars that make the same power one will pull two car lengths? Or one car that ets .2 quicker and traps 2mph faster will lose to a car that is slower?
It all matters regardless.

Mach boy. they are cobra injectors 24's. She wants to boost it eventually and she got them for free. The guy was making his stang stock again for resale.

Then you had the only one dumbass....or your lieing...I'm betting on the latter of the 2. I've been to the track to many time and seen bolt-on 4v cobra's run a high 13@101 if their lucky.....I've yanked several to when I had the ls1.

BTW on shitty 255 series Firestone all season tires I was running 13.1 with 4.10s and minor bolt ons.

I have a friend with a 96 cobra that's runs hight 10's in the 1000ft. Msd ciols, o/r x-pipe and magnaflows, with a air filter and throttle body with no tune. I don't know but its a low 13 car if not a high 12 car. Just stating a fact.
