Sounds about right. Spinning at the line can end up being about 5 car lengths or so at the end pretty easily. If he would have hooked it would have been about that I would say.

Let us know when a bone stock 11 5.0, bone stock 03-04, or bone stock gt500 destroys you.

Thank you!

I don't think it will take a new GT to do it.

I am a realist i know there is no way i will beat every camaro out there. Be it a LS1/LS2/5th gen. Some on is always faster. Always have more invetsed or better set up.

This type of race removes weight, torque, traction and the driver mode from the equation.
Way way off on this one, all that stuff matters.

You arent the only one in this section that believes that. The weight gearing torque driver shift points etc etc are all still there.
Why do you think two cars that make the same power one will pull two car lengths? Or one car that ets .2 quicker and traps 2mph faster will lose to a car that is slower?

It all matters regardless.

Without a doubt.. His car is still in the 13s with under a 105 trap with his mods.

2001 cobra Is a drivers race. Above 90 or so ls1 has the advantage. They trap around 3mph less than an ls1.

I have a friend with a 96 cobra that's runs hight 10's in the 1000ft. Msd ciols, o/r x-pipe and magnaflows, with a air filter and throttle body with no tune. I don't know but its a low 13 car if not a high 12 car. Just stating a fact.

Driver mod is important. My buddy's supercharged cobra just beat a Ferrari about a week ago. The ferrari dude, I hear, sucked d*** at shifting lol.

Seen lots of 4 valve Cobras run 101 or better stock. Bolt on ones usually run 103-107 from what I have seen at full weight in MD.
