Well ran a friend's relative's SRT10 today on the highway. The Viper is stock and I'm just an exhaust/150 shot LS1. On paper it should be a pretty good race but I wasn't sure what to expect. I still haven't tuned the car for the headers(just running retarded timing) and it always seems to find a stupid way to hate on me(nitrous not engaging, TCS ****-blocking, just stupid ****).

Lined up at 60 mph and threw the honks. By 80ish he was at the end of my door. Around 100 mph he started to creep back up ever so slightly and when I shut it down at 140 I had a fender on him. Overall it was an extremely close race and needless to say I'm pretty pumped that I beat a Viper lol.

Got a friend who has a full bolton/150 shot WS6 who has a friend who has a 2005 SRT10: he beats him from every speed no problem. What year viper?

Who beats who and by how much? It's an 06 Roadster.

When he uses the 150 shot he walks him pretty well: 5 cars 50-150. Off the juice it's not even a race. I raced the viper once from a dig when I was stall/boltons: I killed him off the line and held him off until 85mph when he came FLYING by me. By 100 he probably had 3-4 cars on me! It was bad.

Vipers aren't that great from a dig. Too much throttle at the launch and you can end up in the nearest telephone pole. And thats even with 345 drag radials lol.

good run. I had a 2004 C5 and it takes a LOT to run with a stock 03-06 Viper. Your talking a 107-110 mph car vs a 120-123 mph car. But looks like you figured an easy way to do it.

man that makes NOS temting for me. I had heads and cam on my C5 and was only 380 rwhp and would be destroyed by a SRT10. Juice when used properly is pretty amazeing.

3500 pounds and 350 rwhp with bolt ons and 500 rwhp with the juice should beat a stock 3400 pound 445 rwhp viper.

Once the OP gets a few more mods on the C5 he will walk that Viper by a few lengths as well and proballt tie a stock C6Z06

Good kill OP. A 95' Viper pulled up next to me at a red light couple days ago but he didn't want to race He had his gf with him so I'm guessing he didn't want to get embarrassed lol.

I tried to get a gen 1 viper to play with my G8..Younger kid...Trying to show off or his girl in a parking lot as we both was about to pull out. He was revving his engine and I was parked next to him. I started up gave a good rev as i back out. He and his girl just stopped and was like what the hell..He got next to me on the interstate. I dropped it down to 3rd gear at like 55mph..With spray purged i gave a quick hit..Car got a little lose and he didn't want to play..lol

haha that's good ****. G8's aren't bitches, there's a ill *** one by my house thats always parked. This dude in the Viper had to be at least late 20s, I was disappointed, really wanted to run it. Bet it would've went down if he was alone.
