It is a little of both. The GT500 has power for days but it is still on the heavy side compared to a ZO6. Not to mention it is a brick in the wind compared to the ZO6. As mention I am guessing least 100whp more then the ZO6.



I also think the ZO6 shifted early or something. To be that dead even up until that speed then the GT500 just start pulling like that.

Great run .. it was 10mins away from my home

Here is some more info..
GT500 made 495rwhp tune only now it has LT headers - Off road x-pipe - CAI - Upper & lower pulley and retune should be over 570+rwhp and those 3.73 gears helped a lot..
C6ZO6 didnt go to the dyno the numbers are estimated and with fuel + weather we have a round here it will be around 470-480rwhp...

Giving the weight diffrence the GT500 had 80-90rwhp more than ZO6..
11'GT500 is very impressive..

I talked to the ZO6 Driver (he's not the owner he have 1100rwhp ZO6)he said he slow shifted pretty bad to 5th gear..

That video looked like he was running the other GT500..What was mods to the CTS-V? Cause if the GT500 never let out the it is making some serious power.

The blue GT500 let off at 29sec.
CTS-V have a full exahust/pulley/CAI and tune 540-560rwhp




Alharbi's is in Kuwait these races were in Saudi Arabia.
His car is sick though..
