At the track me and some buddies were laughing at some rice burners racing when some guy called me out for his friend because I was laughing at his friends turbo Integra that was running high 10's. The guy that overheard me told his friend, so the kid came over and started laughing at me calling me names and crap and then he asked what kind of car I drive. Back then my car was hardly modded (SLP LM, LID) and the most important mod of the night, no badges . So I told him "V6 Camaro" and all of his friends started laughing and high fiving all around and he said "hope you brought more than a V6 because I eat those things all day long." I told them "well, I'm a really good driver and I think I could beat a high 10 in the 1/8th" so I told him lets go and they followed their friend and me to the staging lanes. They apparently thought I was a V6 with just exhaust and I could see them talking to my friends and laughing as we staged. All I could do was smile knowing what was about to happen. We pre-stage and then stage and the lights went green... I must have had two cars by the time I was shifting to second and by the top of third when I crossed the finish line I must have been like at least 7-10 cars ahead. I ran an 8.9 with him running a 9.9 lol. Turns out while we were staging, his friends were like "Hahaha your friend is screwed, he has NOS!" My friends just started laughing and told them "Your friend is screwed, he's NOT in a V6 Camaro!" That shut them up apparently. After the race, I saw them all standing around and they were pointing at me and this girl they were with was yelling "You're a F-ing liar, too bad you have to lie to win!" I just smiled, waved and through a 6 grand rev. My friends said that they were all dying laughing after that. The funniest part of this story is right after this, they all hopped in their cars and left the track. Silly ricers need to learn to keep their mouth shut in order to avoid embarassing situations.

Sweet! That is crazy, you get mad props for keeping a straight face when you told them you were a v6. I would of been bent over laughing after I told them that. Good job and nice kill man.

Ha Ha ha ha thats pretty funnny. Surprising that he couldnt tell it was a V8 from the exhaust note, but then again they are the smartest group of people ther is now is there.

damn that is hilarious. nice kill. ricers are so damn stupid. what makes it even better, is that i have been able to pull cams off as exhaust leaks and misfires, and even superchargers off as waterpumps. if i was ever that car retarded, i would much rather kill myself!

Just be careful if you come up against a guy in an old Datsun Z car. A lot of them run sbc's and routinely run in the 11's in the quarter. Been there - done that.
