Buddies 335i with cold air, tune, cat back has went lower 12s. He has his boost turned up also. Tune alone with very aggressive the cars have seen gains of 70whp and more. A lot also depend on what 335 it is. The new 335Is is TT with more power also some 335I are TT. The 2011 and newer says it is single. Some have turned them up to 20psi and higher...Some don't care how long it last.
Here is the basic run down on boost levels for the N54 engine(some tunes vary)
Stock -8ish lbs
Tune(no bolt ons) - 12.5ish lbs
Tune(full bolt ons) - 15ish lbs
Tune(FBO, meth, racegas) - 18-19lbs
Still, trapping a 115 on a stock car with only a tune(no race gas, slicks, mods of any sort) is quite optimistic. It's like someone getting into the 12's with a stock fbody ls1. Just because one person has done it, doesn't mean that everyone else can.

I've seen a 135i at my home track with JB3 on map 8 or 9, on 109 octane with a few bolt ons struggling to trap 111. A better driver would have helped, but i don't think it would have broken 115 with Chuck Norris driving.
They can be quick, but not all of them are.
