no the smoke is actually sand being blown from the street as this road was abandoned ( thus the low traction for the vette)

its the AMS performance Alpha packages they have alpha 6, 9 ,10 & 12

They are doing test last i seen on the Alpha 12. The Alpha 10 make 1100hp or so.

My parents and family etc moved away from the middle east in there teens etc. around 1970 and came to america first everyone moved to Michigan Detroit (Rock city)great movie by the way"! The City of Steel .All my life I never had a reason to want to go to the so called Holy land but all these videos of bad *** car's racing through the dessert make me want to go just to see the crazy action.I love it over here but damn I haven't had a proper race in a month or so.**** I'm jealous.sorry drunken rant atleast my spelling isn't horrible hahah!nice video's thanks for sharing!

Haven't they hit close to 225mph in the TX mile? Maybe they did gears.

AMS went 205.3 with the Alpha-9 and BoostLogic went 203.... ..

AMS just built gears to allow them to go out to 230mph. Stock gearing is only good to 210 from what I've heard.

You guys aren't doing standing mile runs here, you're just doing highway pulls. I wouldn't go beyond 200mph in a highway pull.

Lol, it's a moot point beyond 180, let alone 150 since virtually any car racing on public roads not only doesn't trap that high (UG and a few exceptions), but much beyond that would soon be in an OD gear anyway.

60-130mph is much better anyway.

Talk about over-driving the headlights too!
