sorry, but I don't get your logic. a bolton fbody is gonna lose to a LS2 C6 9 out of 10 times. your first race was a fluke: he either snowballed you or didnt know how to drive it.
He's got 20+rwhp more and weighs at least 250lbs less with great areo's and you have gears which hurt you from a roll. not surprising at all IMO.

Well the vid I posted above was our run when I was catback only & he was stock. It was pretty even until we got into the higher mph plus I was in second. Then these two runs with my headers on was the same outcome pretty much compared to the run without headers. So I don't know. Not a big deal... Hes added a ZO6 exhaust since our first run both stock so I guess that helped him out a lot! Lmao

Good runs OP!
I try to educate people on those LS2's. They're not as slow as most think! A good driver should be able to get mid-low 12's at 114-115 in a stock 6M. A handful for a full bolt-on, full weight LS1 F-body for sure.

Thanks yep they aren't to bad. I think if that stock LS2 was in a Camaro or T/A it would be VERY close though. Weight/aero helped him out a lot against me.

sometimes this forum gives me a good chuckle.
Who on here believes all things being equal an LS1 equipped car would beat an LS2??
some of you guys are dilusional about this engine. it's a great engine, fantastic. but every improvement made to the LS1 is just that, an improvement LS2 > LS1 just like the LS3 > LS2, and i'm sure the next iteration of this family will be even better. look up the stock review 1/4 mile times for C5 vs C6.

i understand what "this thread" was about. but my original statement stands. i bet more than 50% of the LS1 crowd believes the LS1 is moe powerful than the LS2, despite the rated hp/tq and displacement difference. When the LS1 came out people were amazed it was dynoing the same if not more than the rated output at the crank. the legend grew. so when the C6 came out (forget about it being IRS, that doesn't matter on a dyno lol [sacarsm]) and wasen't dynoing far greater numbers "people" fell back on their beloved LS1's as the "better" engine lol. Do i need to post the links to the ridiculous threads? might be worth the search just to listen to the responses.

Ive driven LS2 and LS3 Vettes on several occasions and definitly think the LS2 is plenty fast. Ive heard people say they are disappointed in the LS2 motor but to an avg driver they can hardly tell the difference as to which vette is faster ls2 or ls3. I know from driving them the ls3 is a better motor and faster, as mentioned above whenever GM comes out with there next gen or iteration its always better then the one before and its obvious just buy driving them not looking at vidz and getting some persons idea of how they might drive and what numbers they might do. Sure there are really good drivers with good conditions running LS2's at 114-115 and there are bad conditions with not soo great drivers running LS3's 114-115.

So to answer your original question:
No one, apparently. Not sure what bringing up other threads would prove unless it's a quote from someone, that has already posted in here, claiming that an LS1 would out dyno an LS2 in equal conditions.
