The 2010 Roush, which was a stick car and was run at a track in Florida, ran 13.26 @ 107.8 mph. This is more indicitive of what you'll see with a regular driver, and is slow for a 435 flywheel horsepower Mustang IMO

Here's the 2008 automatic:

Here's the 2010 5-Speed:

Thanks for the link! I hadn't seen that test before.

Nice kill in the G8! Looks like the 427R's need some more *****. Must have felt good to pull him like that in a family sedan. I'd like to run one now too lol. And your girls comment was pretty funny at the end of the first video. Thanks for sharing!

Is anything done to the G8?

If bought new least 16k on top of what a GT cost.

Used today can be had for 30-45k depending on year, mileage, etc etc.

Can you say WAY OVER PRICED!

From the responses it sounds like the Roush 427 is a joke. Still not bad for taking it in a family sedan. Topped off my night.
I bet it did but they aren't that slow.. I believe they run in the 12's@110+mph which is bad *** for any stock car imo..

Edit: I see most of my above post was already covered..

Also not sure the G8 posted his mods. But he does have cam, head work, and full bolt ons. Ran a 12.0 rolling into the throttle in bad air. He does mention else where his car with a good launch should run mid 11s.

So take that and what some have said the 427R runs makes sense he would walk away from it.

Good kill. I beat the brakes off a new one recently from a roll and I'm an auto.

You might have me confused with another G8 on one of the other sites. I have a cam, bolt-ons and a stall. Heads are stock from the factory minus upgraded springs. At the speed/rpm we raced from the stall had no factor in the race.

I hop i can run 12.0 rolling in to the throttle though, I sure wouldn't mind

Any idea what you're putting down for power? Probably 420+ depending on the car, I'd guess.

Yea it did feel good to pull on him in a family sedan lol. I think thats why he pulled up on me again(last video) just to see if the outcome would be different.

The last one was actually worse lol but you can't really see in the video other than his blue headlights disappearing rather quickly from the side of me.

Usually when i post street racing videos they dont get many comments. I wonder whats different about this one.

Putting the camera inside one of the cars is what's different. To be 100% honest, no one really likes race videos that were taped from outside the cars, especially from the starting line. The only time it really works well is when the camera is on an overpass at the finish line.

its a 430bhp m90 blown stock 4.6 3v
that is a joke. they are just enough for the 3.8 v6, but no way they are enough for almost a full liter more. could be worse tho, like the guy who put on on his ls1....

12.44 @ 108 was their best time on stock tires for the 2008 auto at Englishtown.

They didn't use drag radials on the 2010 car.

No, they really were intended for people who wanted a really nice looking mustang is all: when you see a hot *** blonde with a killer body, do you ever go "I wonder how smart she is?". 'her' money definitely went into plastic surgery and not a college degree. Same with a Roush.

+1

With a car like that you're paying for more than just the extra horsepower over a regular GT. Definitely not for everyone, but hardly a car should be judged on it's performance alone.

Agree. But I still think if all people want is looks why want extra ponies? Just buy the base GT and make it look good or get a base roush....

Good kill OP. I've been tryin to tell everyone that mustangs are slow does anyone know how much they weigh?

Does anyone see a problem with the 12.4 ET but a 108 Trap? Something sounds funny to me or the 427R has some steep gearing.
