Definitely the way to go man. I know when I get back into the car scene, I'll be picking up a trailer. Never know when something may happen to a friend's car or my own. I have a truck that can do the job, might as well drop a few G's on some added insurance.

2011 5.0 with boss engine, 3400lbs. Full bolt ons. KDANNER's car. Waiting on video. 10.5@129...he thinks it has a little left in it with few more tweaks.

Yea either of those pretty much. Cage could be negotiable but it pretty much ruins the use of a real car. A slick especially if tire height is changed vs the normal street set-up.

The needing of race gas to run the time also. Always cracks me up to hear guys say "I just put a splash in for safety".....I say "hey bud if your tune is that close then you need to back it off a bit". Not that I really care....just spitting the truth.

I don't like to change **** much goin from the street to the track. Really nothing at all. That is why I have a few different ways I drive the car, winter wheels/tires, my 18 and my fave, my Bogarts which I have $0 in other than tires. I do take the front bar off with the Bogarts. They can't generate enough lateral force to make the car roll with 550lb springs on the front. All of them capable of dd'ing.....even in the rain.

I didn't lose anywhere with the setup. You had mentioned losing mid range.

And I need a tire..tried running buddies gt500. It was horrible. Spin city. He's on a Drag Radial.

Run buddies 13 gt500 he is tuned and off road x pipe. Roughly 650whp. He pulled slightly on me. 60-140 he I was at his rear bumper.

Buddy I raced had the VMP TVS at 18 pounds and was even until the garbage pedal broke
