Because mommy and daddy buy most of them their first cars so they have no reason to respect it and try to maintain it themselves

yes most people don't treat a car well if it was given to them. I would treat it like i bought. I see you have a integra... a kid at my school crashed his pos 95 integra mommy and daddy bought him trying to race a ls2 gto. He lost the guy did a u turn on the road and he didn't see till the last second and smoked the gto. destroying both cars.

What type of engine is in your integra? His was stock with a big fart cannon...
I also found a nice ls3 short block for cheap i bought... i am thinking about getting it bored and stroke it. Put a fast 102/102 h/c/i/e and put it in my bird.

I've had this car at the track once with the built motor in fall, right after I put it together and I forgot to tighten the one engine ground I remembered so I was having serious electrical/tuning issues. So a stupid rich tune, wheel hopping and missing 4th 13.4 @ 111 on 15psi. I saw my mistake after I got home and it runs like a dream now. I hate stupid problems like that.
But I've driven the car to a 12.88 @ 113 when it was the stock motor making around 280whp.

I've owned a few cars but I've paid for them all my self, luckly. I don't know why parents do that to their kids. A kid at my high school got a saleen mustang for his like 16th or 17th b-day, in less then a year he flipped it and his rent got him another 40k mustang....
