No... You're talking about the guy who got ahold of one that was missing gears and had never driven stick before lmao. Several different test have shown that it runs high 11's-low 12's with a decent driver with stock everything. They did a comparison between the boss and the ZL1 on the same day/same track and all. They got a 12.7@113 out of the boss and a 12.1@118 out of the camaro with worse traction...

They got a 12.7@113 out of the boss and a 12.1@118 out of the camaro with worse traction...
As the zl1 should be faster then a boss with its 110hp advantage. Like said why not compare to current GT500..
And this is the first 11...even Chevy said low 11.

Why are you asking me why the compared them lol? Clearly if the boss ran lower 12's in different test that shows how much more the ZL1 has left in it since they were ran the same day in those tests... I think gt500 and zl1 1ill be damn close race. ZL1 not even out yet and it's already in the 11's though

Yea, I plan on ported stockers, cam I'm unsure of still gotta talk to whoever I send my heads to, 3600ss stall and 3.42s out back in either my 10 bolt if it lives or a 12 bolt, arp bolts when needed.
I might leave the short block basically alone if a compression test is good, if not nothing crazy, stock crank 355, perhaps new rods and def new pistons
I love my car, I know ill never sell it till it falls apart lol

I had the yank ss3600, would have done 3.42's if I could have done it all over again, and just throw a girdle on the back with some LCA relo's, maybe weld the axle tubes if you really want to get creative, and give it living hell.
As far as rod bolts, I think you have to get those machined on in LT1's. Not as easy as it seems. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. Regardless, you should be able to get a decent cam, spin it to 6200rpm (6300-6400 if daring), and have fun with it. Talk to LE or AI about long-term goals and possibility of staying stock shortblock and what cam to use for that.
I just never got into building my TA because I didn't love it enough. We nearly started the turbo build, but I backed out knowing I would regret it later

And I have some mechanic skills, poping out the engine isnt a huge deal, (all mods done to my car aside from tuning are done by me) hence why I said compression test and stuff, if its fine then Ill prob leave it alone and spin to like ~6k till it breaks. If its not fine my build will get a little more wild, with new rods and pistions and a bigger cam that needs more rpms, perhaps 4 bolt mains blah blah.
I just want a nice quick DD 350+ hp and low 12s which I know can be done, to tide me over till I can pick up something else, perhaps a c5? I dunno, Id like a truck to mess with to lol

Not to mention the test they did was measured how? By the car? Not at a real track. What he guessed on the time? Not to mention different driver in boss/ZL1...Which could mean a lot. Hell even same driver may not drive one as hard as other for reasons.
