Because Evan didn't swap a different engine in his car, cover the bottom of the car in aluminum sheeting, take the airbags out, swap in lightweight racing seats, and cut holes in the suspension parts. That's a good start. Evan gets enough **** for other stuff on here, but his car fits the "bolt-on" category way better than Doug's.

He took weight out w/ the exhaust, drivetrain, wheels, and battery. Doug did all that and then some. You are FAR more likely to run into a car like Evan's than Doug's.

building an ISR stock (similar to NHRA stock) 600 this week. started today, races are this Saturday lolz.

You guys do realize that with a tune,headers,fast intake,ewp, and a little more weight reduction my car would have minimum went an 11.50 right? Thats no aero mods.no fp, and all my airbags. Not to mention a ls1 not a t56. I know it didnt because I didn't get to finish it off but 11.5 is conservative.

This was brought up when Bitemark brought up the LS6 in that vette where it's stated "This is a purpose built car" Dougs car is more purpose built than it is a street car

yea. Every one in here does and I normally dont ryan. But that was easily with in grasp. Now you won't hear me bench race anything else. Only what is attainable for certain with my own car. It would have probably required a rear to go any faster than that.
