Dude i know, believe me ive made some calls there to get some prices on stuff

The body shop i work for has an account with LKQ so we get a big break on prices.

If you need anything LMK.
I think I would do a ecoboost swap to one. Atleast ford has a couple of decent engines now instead of well........none

The problem is none are still not as cost effective to do as a ls.

You can buy the truck engines cheaper and they are similar. One of my friends on FB bought a truck motor from LKQ and is swapping it into his Fox Body.

I think a lot of the hype comes from 5.4 guys jumping into an ecoboost. so of course the ecoboost will seem like a world beater compared to that.

See if the guy has service records, and/or look yourself to see if the intake manifold has a metal coolant crossover passage. It's right behind the alternator. If not, make sure to check the coolant level and radiator. Even if you eventually have to junk that motor, it's one of the most plentiful in the world so they're dirt cheap.
