The more I hear about the head issues the less I want a corvette. I should just buy rental property lol.

Since my heads gonna be brand new he suggested just tumble polishing the intake valves which is 50$ and if I wanted to do Inconel exhaust valves since he doesn't like stock valves which was like 320$ iirc. Guess its different compared to Z06 where he suggests SS. He said since they are new that he wouldn't change the guides because he says the issue is related to intake valves being rough from the factory which is wearing out the guides quickly

Yep, these bastards got VEISHEA cancelled.

With all of the technology and cameras nowadays, I wish them luck explaining to a recruiter this soon to be item on their record.

On another note, it is 6:30pm and 75 degrees, time for some beer darts

Nice. I look forward to seeing your results. I'd guess 7-750 would be where you ultimately want to be?

Yep, explaining your view point is always difficult. Most of the time it's due to personal bitterness toward someone else. And that's never an attractive quality.

No I'm prolly gonna be around 580-600whp on 91, if I do lower pulley and remove cats I'd prolly be around 630-650whp. I don't think I can hit 700whp on stock cam

So you're going to keep the stock cam and full mod the rest? Ported snout, upper pulley, headers, vengeance heat exchanger.....

Why not go with a slightly bigger cam then? Hell your Vette is a monster already an if you have to do some head work a slightly bigger cam should get you in the 700 range if thats your goal.

I don't care. Hell I spent 800 on a battery and another 800 on a carbon fiber driveshaft on this catfish. Heads is a good place to spend the money. Those heads and his work are unreal. I bet with supporting mods an m6 Ls1 could crack 540rwhp with those heads milled on pump gas. I just hope you can run stock rockers with them.

You can, powdered metal guides is the key. A local Vette friend of mine just did TFS 220's w/ light touch up porting from Tooley, turned down LS3 intakes, powdered metal guides (to allow you to run stock trunnion upgraded rockers), milled to 59cc, w/ a Tooley 231/241 cam, ported 90/92 TB & intake and laid down 460/425!

Sent my friend with the 13 1LE that yellow bullet link. He needs to get in touch with Frankenstein and let them go over some options with him. He is dead set on keep a "stock" sounding idle. He wants to be stealthy as possible...
