Okay so turning with rotor off no noise. Turning with rotor on no noise. Turning with caliper on there is intermittent noise. It might be a bent axle...who knows. I can't think of anything in the caliper that would make noise like that except the pads but they would make noise through the whole turning process. Ugh.

could use them to measure to see if the axle is bent. could even use a tape measure. with the rotor on hold a tape measure from the ground to the bottom of the rotor and spin it over. if it's bent, you'll see it.

What would you guys consider an "lsx engine"? Ls1, ls2 ls3? Basically a term used for a variety of ls engines? I know there is also an lsx block but majority of the time its a term for differt ls engines right?
