Yeah didnt the 98s have 225 HP? I know all of the autos were flat out DOGS. Worst mistake I ever made trading my 30th anniversary Z28 for the GT. I turned around and totaled the GT 6 months later and got a 98 WS6 though so it turned out ok

If you have an ls9 why are you wanting to buy a supercharger kit?

For the power your making the car seems sorta lazy on the bottom end even with that big stall. I would have thought that a car with as much power as your making would 60ft in the 1.4X with that size stall. I know I did with my last motor that was making 447rwhp. I ran a 10.90@123mph with a 1.46 60ft. How much mph are you picking up on the big end of the track (from the 1/8 to the 1/4)? You should let this dude tune ohio's car!! The mother ****** would probably run mid 9's.. lol Does he tune GM cars to? If he can do that to your car then I would love to see how much he could get out of my car with all the mods I have.
Thanks!

It is a bone stock long block. Valve covers have never been off. Hell, I haven't changed the oil in it since I bought it at the end of December. Car has 1,300 miles on it.

60' time is "soft" as I am running a 3.31 rear gear and the Boss intake which makes less power under the curve vs. the stock intake. The 6R80 trans has a 4.17 first gear and using more rear gear just makes first unusable. My best 60' to date is 1.55 which was done on the 11.00 pass. I am looking into ways to work that time down. If I could really stall the car up higher on launch without blowing the tires off we may get closer to a 1.50.

MPH wise, this last outing we picked up 2 more MPH in the 1/8th but lost 1 MPH in the quarter over the previous outing where I ran 96 in the 1/8th and 125 in the 1/4. I can only attribute that to the track crew removing and re-installing the timing lights due to the storms earlier in the day. Comparing timeslips, the trap should have been in the high 126, low 127 range. ET was spot on compared to previous outings.

On the stock cams, yes they can be adjusted via the tune. This is part of the secret to the 5.0 running so strong.

Ohio will be getting his tune adjusted in the near future to fix his transmission tune. Once that is done, I would expect some mid 10 second runs with good traction. My tuner only does Ford stuff.

Sounds like these cars run faster here because the timing lights are off....
