I think a lot of old f150 owners would say the same thing about the ford distributor. Nothing worst than being stuck in the mid in the middle of nowhere, stranded, waiting for your distributor to dry out.

Haha, the point you made was valid. Mine was more an attack on the inconvenient placement of the small block chevy distributors.

Easy fix, silicone the distributor cap, I used to hang around guys that were big into mud trucks.
