Odarabla's infinite BS thread for the foreskinned (AKA Smack Down)
At least you know what wrong with it, which is a start. That 60' is terribad. Fix the tune and put a real tire on it and practice your launch to get your 60' way down, you're missing out on a LOT of tenths with that 1.9+ 60'.
Did you stall up against the brake and roll into it, or just flash the stall? My car ran quicker ET's flashing the stall, but the track had to be prepped very well. If track prep wasn't up to par, I would stall up standing on the brake and roll into it.
People make fun of auto cars for being self driving, but there is still a lot of technique that goes into a launch with an auto that makes some power.

MAC, I think it goes without saying that you are in desperate need of reworking that setup. Start from the rear of the car, and work your way forward to hit one issue at a time. You'll figure it out it's just going to take lots of practice and time working out bugs. Should be solid when all is said and done.

There is no need to be done with it. You have a great platform, and this is what, your second time ever to the track? That's not an insult or a dig, I'm just saying go back and tinker, practice, learn your car. None of us went to the track our first time or two and set records. Your starting point to go fast affordably could be MUCH worse. Just stick with it and work at it, it'll improve.

Dam! And that must have been in GA, right? With your setup I think that is a bit low. Along with those 1/8 mile times, I would have to see to believe it's even a 12 sec. car in the 1/4. Just for info I put down 352hp & 372tq on a Mustang dyno when my LS1 was still stock H/C/I. Only bolt on's & tune.

Just trying to maybe factor in changes in atmosphere around the country. Just my opinion but even if the #'s were 40-50 higher I still don't think it would be worth it for the mods you have with the time & money invested. Hey I can't drive lol.....you can't build a car!

340 through a mustang dyno arent huge numbers, but is enough for low 12s/high 11s in a properly setup car.

Goddamn I hate stereo wiring. ******* fronts with crossovers in the doors are a goddamn mess. Should've just mounted them in the rear but didn't want to use that much cable. ****.
