Just naturally strong, cutting wood and working outside with my Dad helped I think. I thought about doing prohormones here but I didn't want to mess up my liver, always been scared of that stuff.

They said I should recover 95% use of my knee so I am happy.

I've been stuck where I am at for a while, life kind of gets in the way. And yeah I eat pretty much the same way you do.
They really aren't worth it. I'm your age, and I can tell you, if I run another cycle, it'll be legit. In all seriousness, if you ran a mild hgh/test cycle, your recovery could likely be cut in half. That would be the only thing I'd consider at this point personally. I wasn't being completely honest either...I HATE squats. I'm certain that if I put half the effort into squats/dreads/cleans that I do into beach muscles, I could increase my strength exponentially. But, I'm a puss and I hate that **** haha.

That's ******* stout for sure. As far as I'm concerned, anyone that can put up three Caddys is a strong ************. I got 300 even at my best, but it was part of a pyramid workout. I always wanted to try three plates, but never did

Hahaha working your legs and back is essential to getting strong. And having a strrong core, because you get some extra strength from your core. That's my problem. I HATE doing abs. I just run a lot to make up for it. Well now not so much, I've been doing the elliptical which I hate too it's boring.

I know, I know...but it sucks *****! My back is pretty stout actually, even at 250lbs I could still do good sets of wide grip chins, and 225 on bent over rows. But **** a bunch of legs man lol. I'm sure a few months of hitting them hard would make all the difference in strength, but like I said, I'm a *****.

Must be nice. I put on "size" fairly easily, but I always look way stronger than I am. Sucks

Swimming and kettle bells are a great addition for workouts.

Right now I weigh around 225, but I should probably be closer to 205-210 if I was "fit". I've had some guys try to get me to do a cycle or two, but I'm just too leary about it. I'm pretty happy with the weight I can move now, and I can still wipe my *** and not worry about having a heart attack at 30.

I love doing my leg exercises now, they helped me build a lot of strength throughout my body.

It's funny thinking back before I got into lifting weights, I was 200 lbs of skin bones and flab and probably couldn't total 500lbs between deadlifts, squats and bench press.

I did lots of kettle bell stuff when I was doing crossfit, and kept doing some on leg days. I can't swim very well but I have been trying to do it more since it's easier on my knee.

I'm sitting at ~285ish right now, on the way down from 335! (That's a huuuuuge bitch!). My goal at this point is just to be healthy and comfortable in my own skin. Here ya go boys...all homo lol. Me @ 335...

Swimming gives you great stamina and helps coordinate your breathing while exercising. Breathing correctly makes a big difference when running and even when lifting.
And kettle bells are just great for core strength and full body workouts.

Sucks to go backwards like I did, but it gives me something to strive for.
