Years ago when I was having trouble breaking through for 225lbs with 2 plates... kept failing... one set, I was doing 215, which I had managed but struggled before... so 1 plate and the littles on the bar. I laid down, unracked, did a solid nice rep... easy. He then told me... "Look at the bar".... I said yeah.. 215.... he said nope.. look again... He tricked me and had 225 on the bar with little weights. My mind though it was 215.. Did the same thing when I hit 315... 2 plates and smalls to get the weight.. then worked on the 3 plate psych out issue.

Go figure, I didn't call my wife back last night because I had a beer pong tournament in the pavilion and now she is mad.... I just told her she should be proud; me and my buddy went 6-0. She didn't think it was funny. Women....

My friend starting lifting with me and is going though the mental thing right now, hes 135 and gets scared as weight gets near his body weight. Hes a strong little ******

Whats your plans to step into?
I saw someone local in NYC selling a LS z28 for like 2400... I was seriously contemplating it. Exterior was in bad shape, and it had a CEL... but that could be the gas cap for all I know... Could also be a hole in the block too, so idk. LMAO

I liked the lt1juan good enough but it just didn't excite me much in the end.
there's two cars i'm interested in right now. one would be a 6th gen camaro if they build what I like. the second would be an 89 turbo t\a, just to have one. they are just cool as hell.

89 with a 5.3 or LS1 swap on a turbo?
