I kinda liked the Vert SS I had..but wouldn't get one again. Was nice once in a while and nice for a cruiser but more noisey and maintenance if the top got screwed up.

I hardly ever put the top down in my Mustang vert that I had. Driving around with the sun beating on your neck in 90-100 degree weather is not fun.

I ttop it everyday (my AC pulley went bad)... I concur it sucks... Actual temps hitting 95-102 and feels like temps over 110... I ******* hate it. If I lived anywhere that had to deal with it more than a few weeks a year I would fix the AC in a heartbeat.

Right now I just consider it "conditioning" for when I have my turnouts on inside a burning building.

When I had the S2000, unless I had to be somewhere that I couldn't be a little sweaty (like work) the top was down. Even if I had to be one of those douches that had the windows down and the A/C on . But the visibility was atrocious with the top up, so that's the excuse I used.

Oh gawd... that would be glorious. Plan is to sell the C5Z and drive the tahoe for a while till I have a sizable downpayment on an ls3 C6. After the amount of money I've dumped in cars over the years I plan on buying a built one.

I just have yet to see a vert top that's up that I think looks even OK. For some reason, they all look like cheap leather flaps draped over some rods for support, which I suppose is exactly what they are. T-Tops are the ******' bomb and if T-top fox coupes weren't rarer than unicorns, I'd definitely have one. I've honestly considered converting mine in the future.

I don't think that looks bad at all, but I really don't give two ***** about what the top looks like when it's up. I spent ~75% of the time I owned that car driving it with the top down, and it gets that way in about 10 seconds.

If I lived somewhere that had a legit several months of winter, or did a lot of racing with the car, I might have considered getting a hardtop. The ~150lbs weight savings would be advantageous, but riding around with the top down far outweighs that benefit, to me.

In fact hardtop vipers look better than viper coupes.

Smart man. Buying it finished is better than building it! Well, unless it's hurt.
