Further narrowing has been done. Car will be an 86 Mustang; both coupe and hatchback are candidates.

Four eyed, first year of EFI (speed density, so it will be converted to mass air which I have all parts for in my wrecked car), and the 8.8 rear end debuted in the Mustangs in 86. Otherwise I have to deal with a crappy 7.5 rear end if I go older than that.

Snake, sounds like good choices!
Whatever you do though, no "General Lee" car for you.

Disclaimer: I know that is said in extremely poor taste considering what you just went through. Just joking with ya.

It's all good, Gary. That gave me a chuckle. Had I been severely injured, maybe wouldn't be laughing, but my passenger and I are both doing great given the circumstances!

You must fall into the long term category
One drink won't kill your liver. Its about how much you drink, not just drinking at all.

I offered 800 and she said she can get 2 grand for it.... So no one bought it and she played with the idea of giving it to scrap for 300-500 that they offered her. She told me and I said I would give her 10 dollars more than they offer her. She got mad and it keeping it another year.
That sucks man... Ill buy it! lol

Yeah, 86 5 speed cars are getting hard to find.

Every time I open an ad and immediately see the aero nose on an 86, I want to punch babies. Nothing against aero noses, just keep them on aero cars.

Lol..That's cool.
Glad you both are doing better. I am sure it will take some time for some of the aches and pains to go away.

Off topic though.. when I was in my early 20's, me and some buddies of mine would buy beater cars for $200 to get around. When we were ready to dump them, we would all pile in it and bring them up to a reservation and beat the **** out of them by hitting trees, running into street signs and the occasional Dukes Of Hazard. One time we decided to drive into a wall at 5 mph just to see what would happen. I have to say I was sore for about 2 weeks with neck and back pain after doing that. I can't believe how much pain can be had by running into a wall at such a slow speed. Learned a valuable lesson though.
