If some one breaks into your home and is high, that .22 will do nothing but **** him off. You need something with some stopping power. If you are worried about a bullet hitting your neighbors house, use hollow points. I keep a magazine with those just for home protection.
The guns i personal want (that would be mine not my dads or brother) is a 12 gauge pump action shotgun (home defense), a Scar or some sort of 7.62 AR looking gun for hunting (that way i have one gun to kill different kinds of animals like, deer, bear, moose etc...), a 9mm and if at all possible an automatic 12 gauge shot gun just bc of Expendables with Terry Cruse. Thats it, im not to big on guns tbh.

The house is well protected! We have a few shotguns, a couple .45's, 9mm, AR15 uses 5.56 ammo, mosen degaunt or how ever you spell it, the list goes on and on. Think between us all we have 30 different guns shooting all kinds of rounds.

Yea bc i keep it with me. But my brother keeps a 9mm and my dad keeps a 45 so im the last guy with how the rooms are set up. If they some how get past the 45 im sure the 9mm will finish them off either way ill use my gun to get to the 12 gauge shot gun. Once they hear me load a round im nearly 100% positive they will run lol

Sounds like my dog Jax lol he is a pit bull and German Short Haired Pointer mix loves to jump on people and play.
This is the truth loading a round in a pump action shotgun is one of the scariest noises.

Or try and jump me for my keys in which case ill just shoot them. Which its a .22 hand gun so not much damage is gonna be done like if i carried a 9mm or bigger.
