I learned tonight that there is a supposedly 300 shot Viper running around where I go cruise at :o

Here is a guys ported/pullied Cobra racing it...


They said that they think the Viper was running a 200 shot then since there are two, same color and one has a 200 shot and the other has the 300.

Edit: 150 shot not a 200, I read wrong. This car is full bolt ons with a 150 shot but there is still a 300 shot Viper rolling around.

not to light. It started at 3400ish stock. It has heat a/c etc just got rid of stupid **** like air pump. 12 year old fog lights that were foggy, bmr k member but all other suspension is stock 120,000 mile crap

Crazy how a few small things can get weight down that much.

I weigh 180 and myself doing a ride along made my buddy's car ET .2 more and trap 2-2.5 mph less in the 1/8th.

believe it or not i did all the weight reduction and then drove the car and couldnt tell a difference.biggest changes i could feel were light clutch (17lbs flywheel and all) and the ported ls6 intake. Those i did individually and gains were huge.

5th gen started right up.

Just throwing 3 codes,

some trans modular ****
and 2 crankshaft sensor positions

P0335, P0336, P0700.

Use to do this **** all the time before. Tomorrow they will be gone.

Question to you guys...

License plate covers, Radar detectors, Jammers, etc...
What do you use, why, etc?

I'm on Beltronix rx65 which I feel is good (probably not as good as V1, but its def. good)
I'm currently trying to figure out what I want to do about my plates.

Your car is running damn good for what it has, but you have a ways to go to get mid 11's. Once you get around the 11.7-8 range it gets real tough to go faster.

A year ago before I removed air/egr and before I did lt/ory my pig weighed a portly 3600 w/o driver. I went to the track and pulled the back seats out and some other small stuff and couldn't trap more than 107 (2400 da or somewhere around that) . I need an intake and a tune, but even then I'd probably only manage high 12s.

Yea im afraid of that. If i hit a wall ill work with weight more. I dont know where my rear end will stop at lol. Ur trap is very impressive. Whats your car weight?

Im still on completely stock tune other than air pump turned off and rear 02s turned off
