Well, my Z28 started not shifting out of 3rd when it was cold. Once it warmed up it was fine. Turned out to be the shifting solenoids and not the whole transmission thank God. Bad part is I have to drop the pan to put the new ones in and I just replaced the fluid

can you guys do me a favor and tell me what this sound is? This thread has alot of knowledgeable people and to keep it as *smackdown* if I could only figure out this noise id race and walk all of you.. its like a piece of paper stuck in my a/c but my a/c is always off and it only happens when im cruising and not accelerating. If its somethin in my vents could the air from the car moving be enough to make the sound? 15-21 is the best spot to listen for it

Drew, good luck with finding that noise its so faint and i dunno where to point you too... does it get worse if the vents are blowing air? and yea, wouldnt take much air for something small to vibrate like that, I go nuts when i have a leaf stuck on the windshield wiper and it buzzes when i start driving lol
If it were my car Id write it off as a small exhaust leak. lol

thanks for input. I just have had nothing but issues with this car. I love her to death but the **** ups who call themselves mechanics who put it together made so many mistakes im super paranoid now lol
