The 5.0 has wet 12.2 manual and 12.3 auto both bone stock. Normal? No but they have done it. The 13 Gt500 has went 11.2 now bone stock.

But yes a stock ZL1 should beat a stock 5.0 least 9 out of 10 times

I think the ZL1 is more traction limited then stock 5.0 as it has more power that why see them losing. Same goes for the GT500. I have watched both 13 GT500 and ZL1 both run 13's cause drivers could get them out the hole. It was a spin fest. They both got better then GT500 managing a 11.8 and the ZL1 managed a 12.3.

I have seen two Zl1s go 11s on stock tires with no mods. Three more run 12 flats.

They run like crap in the heat though

I know how ya feel...but it's damn risky around here. I see more cops than hotrods anymore. Even on just a normal trip to town for a little cruising or gettin grocery's I'll see 4-8 cops on a normal day. Not to see atleast 3 is strange here. It needs to be a worth while run to even bother. Hell the last time we were playing we seen blue lights and ran like hell.

Its that way here in Columbus GA. They actually have a unit called the Night Hawks just to catch street races at night. They drive completely black Challengers with no showing lights/writing/etc.

I live 4 miles into the country and it's that bad, and sometimes we drive another 4-8 past me and still see cops. I feel like I'm in jail all the time. Not many straight roads past that. I'm right at the foot of the Appalachia's.
