Sadly, I'm going to have to agree with this.

Most 5th gens out there I am NOT impressed with the times/mph they are running at their respective power levels. Granted there are a few guys in here like Rhino, dietcoke, etc. that have some awesome running 5th gens, but they definitely don't seem to be the norm in the "fast times" list on a few websites

superchargedss has 715rwhp or something like that and runs 9s at 140.

Just the mentality. Lots of these guys throw **** ton of power on stock suspension and stock gearing and run shitty.
Or they don't understand quality of air into blowers. I wouldn't be surprised if that car making that power has serious heat soak issues.

On the V this is exactly what I went for...air quality, not pure power. Lots of small mods here and there to push quality cold air through the blower.

Don't think anyone was saying to make it on the 2300.

1000rwhp isn't hard to make. Reliable is another story but to just make 1000rwhp all I'd need is a **** ton of spray. Would the motor/trans hold up? Probably for a run or two.

Do they have any DRs for the stock wheels on the 13 5.0s? And is worth even doing a Cai without a tune on one, my friend just got one but doesn't want to void the warranty

I know, from what Ohio has said, is that light bolt ons like the Boss intake, and full exhaust will net a decent amount more power. Maybe he wants to clarify exactly what and where.

Exhaust, boss, airraid cai, and Tune. And be done. Then work on drivetrain, lightening it up. TB is a waste as several real teat have shown with track times and dyno. All the 8-10 sec 5.0's are using stock TB on n/a and blown cars. Less using a KB, Whipple where stock just don't fit.

This thread a vendor that sells the TB claims huge gains. Some that bought in to it didn't aftter putting it on. EVen the one mag did a test it it gained 1hp on the dynow ith the Boss intake/exhuast. For $500+ you can get better mods for 1hp.
